Arduino Nano with OLED Display

An interesting find on Aliexpress: a slightly larger Arduino Nano board with an in-built 0.91″ OLED display, 128×32, I2C. The driver chip is the SSD1306.

Three libraries were needed to set it up and test it with a new sketch, but it works OK now. It could come handy for debugging comms or for monitoring program flow.

With text size set to 1, there will be 4 lines, 21 characters each.
The dimensions are 53×24.5 mm, row-to-row distance 23 mm (0.9″).
It is slightly larger than a normal Nano board.
The active area of the display is close to 25×10 mm.

With size=2 you get two lines, 10 characters each.
With size=3 you get 7 characters.
With size=4 you get 5 characters.

There are many examples included with the libraries:

Keep in mind that these Adafruit libraries will take up almost 14 kB of flash. You can also try the u8g2 library.
